New PitchPlay Development Centre Aims to Bridge the Gap Between Youth and Adult Football
For many talented young footballers, the pathway between youth football and the adult game can be unclear. While opportunities exist at both ends of the spectrum, there is often a lack of support during the crucial transition years when players are preparing for senior football.
PitchPlay's new Development Centre has been created to bridge that gap.
Designed for ambitious players who want to continue their development in a challenging and supportive environment, the Development Centre focuses on preparing footballers for the physical, technical and mental demands of adult football while also supporting their education and future career ambitions.
The programme combines high-quality coaching with sports psychology strength and conditioning, physiotherapy support, player welfare, and individual development planning. Players will also benefit from fitness testing, regular challenges, showcase opportunities, and guidance on pathways within football, education and employment.

PitchPlay Co-Founder Max Peverell said:
"We've put together a fantastic delivery team that is passionate about helping players reach their potential. Our goal is to create an environment that prepares young footballers for the adult game and if we build the right group, we'd love to utilise our international connections to provide overseas football tour opportunities and trial experiences."
The trial session will give players and parents the opportunity to experience the coaching environment, meet the team and learn more about the pathways available through the Development Centre.
Places are limited and players in Year 11 to Year 13 are encouraged to register their interest. Players younger than Year 11 who feel they are ready for the challenge are also encouraged to get in touch.
