Partner Support
You place them. We Support Them.
PitchPlay partners with football clubs, academies, colleges and student recruitment agencies to ensure every international student-athlete has the welfare support they need throughout their entire time on programme.
Whether you're a club looking for talented international players, or a recruitment agency that enrols students onto football and education programmes, PitchPlay provides the welfare infrastructure that makes those placements work properly.
Two Ways to Partner With PitchPlay
PitchPlay works with two distinct types of partner and our support is tailored to what each one needs.

You're looking for talented, welfare-supported international players or you want to work with an organisation that can provide professional scouting, Showcase Tours and player pathways. We handle the talent identification and the welfare; you focus on the football.

You handle the placement we ensure the student is properly supported throughout their course. It's a clean, complementary partnership that adds genuine value to your existing offer.

Student Recruitment Agencies
A Welfare Partner for Your Student Placements
If you work in international student recruitment, you understand better than most how much can go wrong when a student arrives in the UK without adequate welfare support. Homesickness, academic pressure, cultural adjustment and personal difficulties are a number the challenges that derail placements and damage the trust you've built with students and their families.
PitchPlay's Welfare Plans are designed to sit alongside your existing enrolment process. You continue to handle what you do best, which is finding the right programme, managing the application and supporting the student through enrolment. Once they arrive, PitchPlay steps in as their dedicated welfare partner for the duration of their course.
It's a straightforward arrangement that strengthens your offer, protects your students and gives families the confidence that someone independent is looking out for their child throughout the full programme, not just at the start.
How The Partnership Works
Your agency handles enrolment and programme placement with your partner schools and colleges as normal. Once a student is confirmed on course, they are introduced to their PitchPlay welfare officer before arrival. PitchPlay then provides welfare support throughout — regular check-ins, access to specialist services and a named contact for both the student and their family. You remain the enrolment partner; PitchPlay is the welfare partner. The two roles are clearly defined and complementary.

Football Clubs & Academies
Looking for Your Next International Player?
PitchPlay connects football clubs, academies and colleges with talented, welfare-supported international footballers. Every player we work with has been screened to ensure they have been prepared, practically and mentally for the demands of competitive football in the UK.
Why PitchPlay players are different
International players can arrive in at a school, college, university or academy without proper preparation, unfamiliar with the culture, the football demands or what life actually looks like here. That gap between expectation and reality is one of the biggest reasons talented players don't fulfil their potential abroad.
PitchPlay players have been through a different process. They've had welfare support from before arrival, have been mentored by ex-professionals, have engaged with sports psychology and have been coached on the specific demands of UK football. When they join your club, they're ready.
What PitchPlay Offers Clubs
Player Placement
We match international players from our programme to clubs, academies and colleges based on level, position, age and what your organisation is looking for. We handle the initial facilitation to make the process straightforward for your coaching staff.
Scouting Reports
Every player has access to a scouting report as part of the Welfare Plan. Objective, detailed assessments covering technical ability, physical attributes, tactical understanding and attitude, the same standard clubs expect from a professional scouting operation.
Showcase Tours
PitchPlay can organise structured showcase tours giving your players fixtures against professional and semi-professional opposition. Clubs are welcome to attend as scouts or to host fixtures as part of their pre-season or development programme.
Pathway Planning
As a student approaches the end of their current programme, PitchPlay provides personalised pathway advice to help them plan their next step — whether that's continuing in football, progressing into further education, or transitioning into a career. We work directly with the student to assess their options honestly and map out a realistic route forward.
For clubs and colleges, this means the players you work with are never left without a plan at the end of their course. We handle the conversations, identify the opportunities and support the student through the transition — reducing the burden on your staff and ensuring the student leaves your programme in a better position than they arrived.
Pathway options we advise on include:
-
Progression to a higher-level football programme in the UK or Europe
-
University and college routes — including degree and foundation level
-
US college soccer scholarship applications
-
Semi-professional and professional trial facilitation
-
Return home with a structured plan and UK qualification
-
Career guidance for students transitioning beyond football
